Colour and material are very important in every way.
And it was a challenge to create in this house the historical and modern world.
We used “ Something old, something new, something borrowed, something Blue “
That means reclaimed and new materials, to create an ambiance if this house always has been there at this location. But in fact, it was constructed in 2 years.

For the magazine More Than Classic I created a real house as PR event, inspired on Golden Age Dutch historical Amsterdam Canal Houses. Special attention for craftsmanship in mouldings, silk covering, wood inlay etc. showing how to live in historical style in modern comfort and luxury.
